MKBAA Organiser Evolution says...
Evolution organises and delivers events across the globe from our MK Head Office. In fact, we can take care of pretty much every element of a live event that you could need support with. From identifying the best locations and ideal venues, inviting and registering your delegates, even organising their travel – to creative ideas for themes, content and achieving your objectives. Be it 2 delegates or 2,000, a conference, exhibition, road show, themed party – or, yes, an awards show! And everything is delivered in-house, including event management, production and technical AV kit, set and staging, video and content creation.
No surprise then that we were thrilled and delighted to sit down in the Summer of 2013 with the MK business leaders and Interdirect to plan the very first MKBAA. As a thriving international business based in MK, our CEO Andi Swain was keen to see MK’s outstanding business successes showcased and recognised on the big stage. And of course to celebrate that success!
As a member of both the hospitality and media sectors, we are encouraging all of our clients and partners based in the MK postcode to enter.
Think about it, it’s all upside and no down-side! The incredibly simple entry process enables you to shout about your achievements, people and ambitions whilst perhaps reminding you of those very successes (easy to overlook when you’re busy running your business!). Involve your team in the entry – after all, they may have as a good a handle as you on why you are so successful; and it’s also great team bonding.
If you take the eye of the judges and find yourselves nominated as a finalist for one of the awards, the PR, marketing and other spin-offs for your business, yourself and your team can be immense. For starters, you’ll find yourselves showcased in front of an audience of 600 prominent MK business folk at the very glitzy awards gala dinner. More than that, you’ll have a short video created for you by the Evolution film team, showcasing your business on the big screen, and available post-event for you to use for your own promotion… then, you could take the opportunity to bring your team along on the night to enjoy the fine dinner, and the celebrations. If you win the category, Gail Emms will bring you up on stage to receive the award, have your photos taken, and start to celebrate. As a winner, you will automatically enter the race for the coveted MK Business of the Year award.
The awards show and especially the winners, will feature prominently in the local business press post-event, so news of your success will spread rapidly across the area – and who knows where that might lead!
